Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your manager and mentor to drive exciting, ambiguous projects from start to finish.
- Design, develop, and test software applications using Uber's technology stack.
- Apply your technical knowledge to evaluate complex data and resolve technical issues.
- Build software components to be integrated into a fully functional system.
- Take ownership of projects and push them forward with independence.
Basic Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field at Stanford University.
- At least one remaining semester of school after the completion of the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated software engineering experience through previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
- Programming experience in one or more application or systems languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or C/C++.
- Experience in building tools or infrastructure.
- A commitment to writing understandable, maintainable, and reusable software.
- A strong sense of accountability and a desire to deliver impactful results.
- Ability to learn new languages and methodologies.

Location
This internship is based in Sunnyvale, California, United States. For all US locations, the base hourly rate is USD $52.00 per hour.
