Join Our Team as a Frontend Developer (UI-Kit Team)
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our UI-Kit Team at Semrush. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about turning ideas into reality using code, algorithms, and a bit of magic. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our open-source Intergalactic Design System, supporting both internal and external developers, and developing common components that scale effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and Develop: Work on the Intergalactic Design System, ensuring it meets the needs of developers and scales effectively.
- Support Developers: Provide support to internal and external developers using our components.
- Solve Challenges: Tackle unique challenges, such as integrating with existing code or build mechanisms, and improve processes for scalability.
- Collaborate: Communicate with other teams to integrate new components, discuss innovations, and understand their challenges.
- Testing: Cover new functionality with unit tests and participate in E2E testing development.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years in JavaScript or TypeScript development.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6, React, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Understanding: Familiarity with browser operations, web services, REST APIs, and TDD principles.
- Language: Proficiency in English (B2 level or above).
Nice to Have
- Experience with TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, and open-source software development.
- Knowledge of web servers like Nginx and web-accessibility requirements.

About the Team
The UI Kit team is responsible for designing the system and component library for React used across Semrush. This product connects all Semrush interfaces, providing a uniform and intuitive component library for developers.
