Gofore is seeking a talented Embedded Software Developer to join our team in the Greater Munich Metropolitan Area. As a part of our engineering department, you will work on cutting-edge projects in the intelligent industry, ranging from embedded systems for machinery to complete industrial digitalization solutions.
Your Role
As an Embedded Software Developer, you will design and develop software for both physical devices and cloud environments. You will tackle challenges from product design through development to the end of the product lifecycle. Your projects will span across intelligent machines, production, energy telecommunications, and health and wellness technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++.
- Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
- Utilize Qt and QML for software development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design software architecture.
- Debug and solve complex technical problems.
- Engage in agile software development practices.
- Communicate effectively in both German and English.
Your Skills and Experience
- A degree in a relevant field and several years of practical experience in embedded systems or application software development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with other languages like Python or Java is a plus.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with version control, testing tools, and methods.
- Experience in cloud environments is advantageous.
- Interest in IoT, Arduino, and home automation.
