As part of the Fujitsu Enterprise Platform Services BS2000, you will be at the forefront of developing infrastructures and operating systems for the digital age, focusing on high-end data centers and connected services.
Your Role
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing core operating system components for the BS2000 mainframe operating system.
- Supporting the software lifecycle from specification through implementation, testing, maintenance, and service support.
- Collaborating on concepts for innovative and complex IT architectures based on customer requirements.
- Working in large development teams and with our international strategic partners.
- Providing technical documentation and creating user manuals.
- Offering technical support to our service and sales colleagues, including back-level maintenance support and problem-solving for both proprietary and third-party components.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A completed degree in computer science or a comparable IT-related qualification.
- Initial experience in software development, particularly with programming languages such as Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages.
- Experience with the development lifecycle, including source control and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical skills, flexibility, creativity, and a strong customer and service orientation.
- Excellent German and good English language skills.
