Role Overview
Join Semrush as the Head of Engineering for our Enterprise Solutions Unit, where you will lead the technological advancements and team management in a dynamic and innovative environment. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of digital marketing solutions for large enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management: Lead the Enterprise Solutions Engineering function, developing and iterating on technological processes in a rapidly growing organization. Hire, lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers and technical professionals.
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management on operational and product-related topics. Create clear engineering objectives aligned with the product vision and business objectives.
- Performance Management: Constantly track performance to drive productivity. Develop quality standards and a technical strategy to ensure the stability and availability of all services.
- Innovation and Development: Advocate for innovation and adopt new technologies to achieve goals. Manage engineering operations and review processes in partnership with the Product Management team.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with significant experience in a fast and nimble startup environment. 5+ years of engineering people management experience.
- Skills: Strong organizational management abilities, profound understanding of the SaaS business model, and experience in building and scaling architectures.
- Tech Stack: Experience with Go Lang (Backend), BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
