IT Internship: GenAI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision

About the Role
As an intern, you will engage in projects involving GenAI, machine learning, and computer vision. You will work on business cases such as:
- Document Indexing (DOCIDX): Develop a reusable interface to index scanned documents in bulk, customizable for various environments and tasks.
- Package Type Detection (PKGDCT): Detect the shape of packages to ensure they are processed with the required care, and identify warning conditions like broken packages or liquid leaks.
Responsibilities
- Identify the best approach to sourcing images for processing.
- Analyze available tools, libraries, and algorithms to determine the best solution approach.
- Design interfaces for proposed solutions to integrate with other systems.
- Evaluate the accuracy and quality of proposed solutions.
- Implement a working proof-of-concept solution for each business case.
- Collaborate with software engineers and business representatives to identify improvement opportunities and develop system modifications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in computer vision tools and algorithms.
- Strong mathematical skills for data collection, measurement, organization, and analysis.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, Java, and Python.
- Technical proficiency in database design, data models, data mining, and segmentation.
- Experience in reporting/creating dashboards with Power BI, Looker, and programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks).
