Scala is seeking a Medior Frontend Developer to join their team in Sittard. As a leading company in digital signage, Scala provides marketers and retailers with full control over content playback on a network of screens. With a comprehensive suite of proprietary software, hardware, services, and live support, Scala is at the forefront of retail and audience engagement transformation.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating Vue.js applications, contributing to the development of high-quality web applications, services, and tools for Scala and its customers. You will work closely with a team of developers located across Europe and the USA, engaging in Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver projects for both domestic and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and the development team to discuss project goals.
- Design and build web applications using the latest frontend technologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug implementation issues.
- Work alongside frontend and backend developers on various projects.
- Test user functionality and ensure smooth integration.
- Enhance projects based on client feedback.
- Document and report on completed work.
- Maintain and update web-based applications.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js, and Vite.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and a strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
- A passion for creating elegant and efficient user interfaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a critical mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive team player.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Node, NVM, and WebSockets.
