About The Role
As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building advanced features for the ChatGPT desktop application. You will leverage industry best practices and modern frameworks to deliver exceptional experiences to ChatGPT users. This role involves designing and implementing features end-to-end in a modern MacOS/iOS codebase. We are looking for experienced, talented engineers who are passionate about building features from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with design and product teams to conceive, design, and build features for ChatGPT on desktop.
- Collaborate with a small, senior team of engineers and researchers to combine existing best practices with innovative approaches based on modern deep learning to develop industry-leading systems.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional engineering experience (excluding internships).
- Significant experience building technically complex features that delight users, especially in Swift and/or C++.
- A passion for building high-quality user experiences.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, communicate clearly and concisely, and a continuous desire to learn and share knowledge.
Workplace and Benefits
This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and follows a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week. We offer relocation assistance to new employees.
