Coinmerce is a European cryptocurrency platform with Dutch roots. Our mission is to make crypto simple, secure, and accessible to everyone, both individuals and professionals. Coinmerce is registered as a crypto broker with De Nederlandsche Bank and serves customers in more than 10 European countries. Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the user-facing aspects of web applications. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth interaction between the user and the software by creating responsive, intuitive, and visually appealing interfaces. The Front-End Developer will collaborate closely with designers, back-end developers, and other team members to create a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Development: Develop responsive web applications and websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and integrate with backend APIs.
• Mobile Development: Assist with mobile application development using Flutter.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and other team members to ensure the feasibility and technical viability of designs, and then translate the designs into code.
• Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for speed and scalability.
• Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews and identify areas for improvement in performance and quality.
• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 1-4 years of experience in front-end development or a similar role.
• Proven experience with responsive and mobile-first web design.
• Experience working with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS (Sass, Less), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Knowledge of or interest in learning Dart and Flutter.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and working with JSON data.
• Knowledge of version control (Git).
• Experience with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Gulp, NPM) and package managers.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design and user experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
