About the Role
BlockTech is seeking a talented Full-stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. As a Full-stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing a highly performant, data-heavy, real-time trading and analytics application. This application features a React-based frontend and a Python/Node.js backend, providing traders with insights and oversight of our models and the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create intuitive and clear interfaces that provide traders with insights and oversight of our models and the market.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a diverse, multi-skilled development team to build and improve user-facing features.
- Optimize: Ensure applications are optimized for performance.
- Code Quality: Write readable, scalable, and reusable code.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience with React: You should have a strong background in React development.
- Web Markup Proficiency: A solid understanding of HTML and (S)CSS is essential.
- Web Design and UX: An affinity for web design and user experience.
- Academic Background: An academic degree is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English.
- Work Ethic: An independent, proactive work approach with a positive can-do attitude and a creative mind.
