About the Role
As a Senior Front-end React Developer, you will be deeply involved in the entire development lifecycle of our VISI web application, which is crucial for managing communication in construction processes. Our clients include major engineering firms, government bodies, and contractors who rely on our software to enhance safety and efficiency in the Netherlands.
You will work closely with the VISI Web team to develop robust and scalable software solutions. Your role will involve identifying areas for improvement, taking ownership of processes, and collaborating with stakeholders. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and you will have the flexibility to work from home or at our vibrant office in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
- Ensure the application is consistent, robust, and scalable.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
Who We Are Looking For
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Front-End React Developer.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
- Deep understanding of React concepts such as hooks.
- Experience with TypeScript and developing web applications.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Preferably, experience with back-end environments like .Net or Node.js, component libraries, Test Driven Development, Git, and Linux.
