About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer at Homerun, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of features for our main product. Your work will vary from building real-time notification systems to refining our existing state management in Vue.js. You will write elegant code that others can easily understand and explain your design pattern choices to co-engineers, fostering a learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain features for our main product.
- Build real-time notification systems and refine state management in Vue.js.
- Write clean, readable, reusable, and scalable code in PHP and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
- Continuously improve the UX and have a keen eye for design.
- Take responsibility for any step in the product development cycle.
Our Tech Stack
Our tech stack includes Laravel, Vue.js, Webpack, Redis, MySQL, ElasticSearch, AWS, Terraform, Pusher, and SendGrid. While we are heavy users of Laravel and Vue.js frameworks, we value pragmatic solutions over following a dogma. We are open to your expert opinion on what technologies are more fitting for our unique use-cases.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience developing web applications in publicly available production environments.
- Expertise in Vue.js and Laravel is a big plus.
- Experience working on large SPAs and with complex systems.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- A pro-active attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
