About the Role
At Mediahuis, we are committed to delivering independent, high-quality journalism that millions of people rely on daily. We are looking for a Full-stack TypeScript/JavaScript Developer to join our team in Amsterdam. You will be at the forefront of implementing our Customer Journey Builder platform on our news sites and apps. This platform enables our business colleagues to design user journeys based on various data, and your role will be crucial in supporting the organization, continuously improving the platform, and adding new functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop API integrations with Zephr using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Enhance user experiences through HTML and CSS.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, acting as the linchpin that connects teams and aligns organizational goals.
- Optimize the Customer Journey Builder to increase subscriber acquisition through our paywall.
What You Bring
- Experience in API development using JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of React, Cloudflare, GitLab, Serverless, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, taking initiative and working autonomously.
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality, with the ability to collaborate easily with other teams and stakeholders.
- Creativity in finding solutions using both external tools and your own code.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be on-site in Amsterdam three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for the remaining two days.
