Role Description

As an MLOps Engineer at Pruna AI, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our machine learning infrastructure. We are looking for talented individuals at various levels of experience who are enthusiastic about improving AI operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of Pruna’s SaaS Platform: Contribute to the development and maintenance of Pruna’s SaaS cloud platform, designed for model compression and benchmarking. Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies. Implement and optimize backend services to support the platform’s functionalities, including model compression, performance evaluation, and user interaction through the UI.

• Management of R&D Cluster: Oversee the R&D cluster of the company, including individual machines on AWS that users can start and work on daily. Manage and maintain a SLURM cluster, facilitating the execution of batched experiments and jobs for the team. Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of the compute resources used for research and development.

Collaboration

• Work closely with ML Research Engineers to scale their work, manage experimentation setups, pipelines, and testing environments.
• Collaborate with other MLOps Engineers on the integration of Pruna's solutions in proprietary and established cloud platforms.
• Partner with the Go-to-Market Team to qualify new partnerships and experiment together on new tools and offerings for the ML community to generate leads and convert customers.

Required Skills

• Software Engineering: Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in MLOps (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
• Cloud Computing and DevOps: Expertise in cloud computing platforms. Experience with containerisation technologies. Experience in designing, managing, and optimising CI/CD pipelines. Experience with orchestration tools and automated deployment practices.
• Collaboration and Communication: Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams. Experience in working within an agile development environment. Strong sense of project ownership and personal responsibility.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with deep learning frameworks.
• Contributions to open-source MLOps projects or communities.
