At Keboola, we are seeking a talented and experienced AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and developing our AI and machine learning features. You will work closely with a team of skilled developers to improve the speed, usability, and stability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and Maintain AI Features: You will be responsible for improving, maintaining, and extending our existing AI and machine learning features.
• Design New Features: Collaborate with our product team to brainstorm and design new AI-driven features.
• Develop and Optimize Models: Develop, train, optimize, and fine-tune machine learning models, including large language models (LLMs).
• Enhance AI Pipelines: Work on enhancing the quality of our AI pipelines and codebase.
• Code Reviews: Provide code reviews for other team members to ensure high-quality code.
• Technical Design Participation: Actively participate in the design of AI-related technical features, including design documentation and RFCs.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share your knowledge and experience in AI technologies and techniques with individuals outside your team.
• Support Peers: Assist your closest peers in understanding and implementing AI best practices.

Technologies We Use

• Programming Languages: Python and frameworks/tools such as FastAPI, NumPy, and Pydantic.
• Data Storage: MySQL and ElasticSearch for structured data storage; Snowflake or BigQuery for big data and analytics.
• Deployment: Docker for running our apps and deploying machine learning models.
• Cloud Services: GCP, Azure, and AWS for AI model training and deployment.
• Infrastructure Management: Terraform for managing cloud resources.
• Version Control and CI/CD: GitHub for storing code and Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for running our build, test, and deploy pipelines.
• API Specifications: OpenAPI and Apiary for API specifications.
• Project Management: Scrum best practices for organizing our work and managing AI project lifecycles.

What We Look For

• Experience: 3+ years as a Python engineer with a focus on AI/ML, running production services.
• Machine Learning Expertise: Experience with machine learning concepts, including model development, training, deployment, and monitoring.
• NLP and LLMs: Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).
• AI Best Practices: Understanding of best practices for AI and machine learning in production environments.
• Soft Skills: Strong orientation towards results, attention to detail, and effective problem management.
