Position Overview
Scopic, a leading virtual software development company, is seeking a Remote Full-stack PHP Developer to join our dynamic team of over 250 professionals from more than 60 countries. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on diverse projects that drive innovation and growth in the digital space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, Yii, and other technologies.
- Work with JavaScript and React.js to create responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
- Manage databases and server-side logic with strong SQL skills.
- Utilize AWS for deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
- Collaborate with a global team to design and implement new features and functionalities.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of applications through effective cloud infrastructure management.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of software quality.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience.
- Proficiency in PHP and experience with Laravel, Yii, or similar MVC frameworks.
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience with React.js.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with MySQL/Aurora.
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Ability to work with a large existing codebase and integrate multiple services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Intermediate proficiency in English and ability to overlap with PST working hours.
