About the Role
Handyhase.de is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer with a focus on PHP to join our growing IT team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our core platform based on WordPress, as well as contributing to the design and development of new products using Symfony and a modern tech stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our legacy core platform on a WordPress basis.
- Actively participate in the conception and development of new products with Symfony and a modern tech stack including Docker, REST, SOAP, PHPUnit, MySQL, Design Patterns, Git, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
- Integrate external APIs and data sources.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and performance.
- Interact with infrastructure and take on DevOps tasks in a cross-functional setup.
Your Profile
- Completed education or degree in computer science/software development or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in web-based software development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP 7 & 8, especially in conjunction with API and MySQL databases.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Prefer a conceptual, structured approach to work and know when to be flexible and goal-oriented.
- Fluent in German and ideally good English skills.
