Position Overview
Join Scopic, a leading virtual software development company, as a Remote Full-stack PHP Developer. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, Yii, and other technologies.
- Work with React.js and JavaScript to create dynamic front-end experiences.
- Manage databases and server-side logic with SQL and possibly AWS.
- Collaborate with a global team to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
- Understand and work within a large existing codebase, improving and expanding upon it.
- Ensure scalability and availability of applications through proper architecture and cloud integration.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
- Proficiency in PHP and experience with Laravel, Yii, or similar MVC frameworks.
- Strong skills in JavaScript and experience with React.js.
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with MySQL/Aurora is a plus.
- Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure is advantageous.
- Ability to work with a large, complex codebase and integrate multiple services.
