Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA, a leader in AI and accelerated computing. This role is pivotal in optimizing performance across all layers of the hardware/software stack, from GPU architecture to deep learning frameworks, to achieve peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Implement deep learning models from various data domains such as CV, NLP/LLMs, ASR, TTS, RecSys, and others using multiple DL frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow, DGL, etc.).
- Develop and test new software features (e.g., Graph Compilation, reduced precision training) leveraging the latest hardware functionalities.
- Analyze, profile, and optimize deep learning workloads on cutting-edge hardware and software platforms.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers across NVIDIA to enhance the design, usability, and performance of workloads.
- Lead best practices for building, testing, and releasing DL software.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in deep learning model implementation and software development.
- BSc, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Excellent Python programming skills and extensive knowledge of at least one DL framework (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, MXNet).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Solid understanding of algorithms and deep learning fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in performance measurements and profiling.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- GPU programming experience (CUDA or OpenCL) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Linux environments.
- Knowledge and passion for DevOps/MLOps practices in deep learning product development.
