Senior Frontend Developer with Angular and React.js

Job Overview

Veeam Software is seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team in Prague. This role is pivotal in designing and developing significant features for our Veeam Kasten data management platform, which is purpose-built for Kubernetes. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development: Own meaningful parts of the product by designing, building, and testing significant features related to the backup and recovery of Kubernetes applications, databases, and storage systems.
UI/UX Design: Prepare UI/UX designs in Figma, design mockups, and conduct UX testing to ensure a user-friendly interface.
Full-Stack Development: Utilize a breadth of skills from initial design to UX wireframing, CSS styling, REST APIs, and JavaScript development for new features.
Code Quality: Automate code quality with unit tests and end-to-end UI tests to maintain high standards.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in developing, testing, and debugging JavaScript/TypeScript.
Frameworks: At least one year of experience with a reactive framework such as React, Angular, or VueJS.
Design Skills: Visual design experience and the ability to create visually appealing interfaces.
CSS Proficiency: Ability to implement designs in mobile-responsive CSS and experience with a CSS preprocessor such as SCSS.
Portfolio: Your work or portfolio should be visible online (e.g., portfolio site, CodePen account, or GitHub).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and maintaining design systems in Figma.
Experience with VueJS and TailwindCSS.
Experience writing in Go and enjoying it.
Experience with container platforms and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience participating in and contributing to open source projects.
Experience with applying accessibility (a11y) standards.
