Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team and drive the development of innovative web applications. As a Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding our development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, creating a collaborative and innovative work environment where everyone feels empowered to be their best.
- Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable full-stack web applications using our core technologies (NestJS, Vue/Nuxt, TypeScript, PostgreSQL). Optional: Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Estimate project timelines, resource allocation, and task dependencies, working alongside our Chief Product Officer to ensure on-time delivery with the leadership's plans and objectives.
- Oversee project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage team performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer.
- Experience leading development teams and managing projects.
- Strong proficiency in full-stack development using NestJS, Vue/Nuxt, and TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of database design and management, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record of optimizing costs, deploying, and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform, including databases, Cloud Run, and load balancing, while adhering to stringent security standards.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization).
- Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Requirements
- Remote Work: Ability to work effectively in a remote work environment and working with developers that may be overseas.
- Part-Time Team Management: Experience managing part-time developers.
