Your Mission
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Predium, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing our software solutions that aim to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings globally. Leveraging our stack consisting of TypeScript, GraphQL, and NestJS, you will play a crucial role in writing and refining scalable backend solutions. Your work will involve writing software tests and collaborating with other teams to create valuable solutions while managing data models and pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaboration: You will work closely with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to build solutions that meet business needs and deliver value to our customers.
- Data Management: You will build and maintain data models and pipelines that enable efficient and effective data processing and analysis.
- Algorithm Development: Implement complex algorithms to improve our data approximation and recommendations.
- Security Practices: Develop our security best practices to protect our backend systems and data.
- Performance Scaling: Scale the performance of our backend systems and identify potential bottlenecks.
Your Profile
- Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering and data modeling, preferably in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Technical Skills: Solid experience with backend technologies, specifically TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL databases or similar.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for Sustainability: Excited about solving climate change and eager to contribute on a high scale.
- Language: Fluent in English.

- Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and data processing on AWS.
- AI/ML Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AI/ML.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code.
