About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer to join our Digital Products Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge mobile applications that will be used by millions of users worldwide. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers and designers to create seamless digital experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop High-Impact Apps: Work on applications that make a significant impact on the world, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
- Mentor Junior Engineers: Share your expertise and guide junior team members to enhance their skills and contribute effectively to projects.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the mobile app development space to ensure our solutions are innovative and competitive.
- Agile Practices: Participate in agile software development practices, including peer code reviews, to maintain high-quality standards.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide technical insights, dedicating 20% of your time to client interaction and documentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript (ES6) and deep knowledge of React Native, including component composition, lifecycle events, and hooks.
- Front-End Tooling: Proficiency with front-end tools such as NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, CI, and unit testing.
- Mobile Development: Experience with mobile development, including integration with NativeModules and custom iOS/Android SDKs.
- Commercial App Development: Experience in building commercial apps released in Google’s Play and/or Apple’s App Stores is a significant advantage.
