We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our team in Barcelona.
About the Role
As a Senior React Native Developer, you will be instrumental in the development, maintenance, and scaling of our mobile applications and SaaS platform. You will work closely with our 15+ software engineering teams located across Sweden, the UK, Bulgaria, the USA, and Spain. Your role will involve connecting patients with medical trials through innovative software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React Native.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with mobile app development.
- Experience with unit testing and version control systems like GIT.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A patient-focused mindset and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with open-source projects.
- Secondary skills in web development using HTML and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and Python.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar DevOps tools.
