About the Role
Notion is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Calendar product team. This role involves end-to-end ownership of the Notion Calendar, from frontend to backend development. You will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers and designers to develop, iterate, and scale the product.
Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: You will develop across the entire software stack, enhancing the frontend architecture and scaling the backend infrastructure.
- Product Ownership: Take full ownership of the product development lifecycle, including roadmap planning and execution.
- Technical Challenges: Solve complex technical issues involving backend architecture, real-time collaboration, and client-side interactions.
- Innovation: Work with Notion AI engineers to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into the product.
Skills and Experience
- Proven Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in building scalable software.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in modern web technologies, including React, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a clear and accurate understanding of complex technical challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to a collaborative work culture.
