About the Role
Join Google as a Software Engineer on the YouTube Knowledge team, where you'll be at the forefront of developing technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. This role is based in Paris, France, and involves working on projects that are critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all steps of the software development lifecycle, from design to implementation, testing, and productionization.
- Work on infrastructure, complex algorithms, data mining, and machine learning, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
- Process data sets at YouTube scale, impacting products such as Home, Search, Recommendations, and Vertical Experiences (e.g., music, kids, gaming, living room).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, with specialization in large distributed systems.
- Experience in machine learning or advanced programming.
- Experience in software engineering, C++, Python.
