About The Role
As a Staff Software Engineer at Robin AI, you will be at the forefront of blending engineering, AI, and the law to develop innovative products. Our current focus is on a product that uses neural networks and LLMs to read, comprehend, and amend contracts based on customer preferences. However, our ambitions extend beyond contract review to fundamentally changing how legal services are engaged globally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Backend development in a product-focused squad.
- Make key design and implementation decisions.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code to solve complex problems.
- Work closely with Product Managers and ML Research Engineers to deliver outstanding products.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, ensuring best practices in software development.
- Play a key role in recruiting other Backend engineers.
- Develop back-end services and GraphQL APIs using Django, Flask, and similar frameworks.
- Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS using tools like Terraform and CircleCI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with backend technologies and web-based languages such as Python, Go, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with frameworks like Django and Flask.
- Proven track record in a startup or similar dynamic environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire development process (design, development, and deployment).
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $180,000-$250,000
