Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

As an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Tangent, you will be at the forefront of developing AI solutions that deliver tangible benefits to our clients. You will work on a variety of AI projects, utilizing both closed and open-source AI models and services. Your role will involve using large language models (LLMs), speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and NLP solutions to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI solutions based on client needs, using both closed and open-source AI models and services.
• Utilize LLMs, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and NLP solutions to deliver business value.
• Research and experiment with the latest approaches in the LLM landscape.
• Use generative AI to support delivery and write technical and user-facing documentation.
• Analyze documents using LLMs and Computer Vision to convert them into structured data.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to help them understand AI's potential and limitations.
• Modify and expand MLOps pipelines, using end-to-end pipelines to train and/or fine-tune LLM models.
• Design, develop, and test LLM, machine learning, and deep learning systems.
• Prepare datasets and training procedures.
• Build, configure, deploy, and monitor ML solutions in cloud environments.
• Monitor and improve the performance of AI-based solutions.

What We Are Looking For

• Solid development and data science skills.
• Proficiency in Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Experience in building services using Flask or similar server-side frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Docker and one of Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud technologies.
• Rapid prototyping skills.
• Algorithmic and heuristic problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of semantic data models in different domains is beneficial.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience in AI development for business.
• NLP knowledge.
• Knowledge of Computer Vision problems.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JIRA, MLflow, ClearML, Amazon SageMaker.
• Experience with Transformers Architecture, LoRA, QLoRA, or other PEFT techniques.
• Experience working within a digital agency environment.
