About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team and lead our efforts in analyzing and evaluating biomedical data using state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) and cutting-edge machine learning methods. This role is crucial in building a world-class engineering team and contributing to solutions that improve people's health and lives by making high-quality health products accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities

• Tech Stack and AI/Data Pipelines Setup: Be involved in setting up our tech stack and AI/data pipelines.
• Model Development: Develop models for the analysis and classification of biomedical data, pattern recognition, and anomaly detection.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the tech team to bring developed/trained models into production and support the end-to-end process.
• Roadmap Contribution: Contribute to defining and shaping our data and AI product roadmap.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5+ years in roles such as ML engineer, data scientist, or data engineer.
• Model Development Lifecycle: Experience in the complete end-to-end process of model development, from data acquisition to deployment.
• NLP Expertise: Experience in NLP, including topic modeling, document classification, named entity recognition, and recommender systems.
• LLM Proficiency: Expert-level experience with transformer-based large language models (e.g., BERT, GPT, Llama), including prompt engineering techniques and fine-tuning.
• Python and Data Science Tools: Proficiency in Python and tools like NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Machine Learning Frameworks: Extensive experience with at least one ML framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Statistical Concepts: Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
• Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
