Ampere, a leader in semiconductor design for cloud and edge computing, is seeking a Senior Applied AI Model Researcher to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in advancing our AI capabilities, focusing on the development and optimization of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI technologies.
About the Role
As a Senior Applied AI Model Researcher, you will:
- Lead research initiatives to develop and implement LLM-based AI models.
- Explore model-level optimization techniques for efficient AI inference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into Ampere’s product offerings.
- Prepare and present updates on AI projects to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development in AI model (LLM) development and training.
- Implement, test, and evaluate AI models and algorithms across various hardware architectures.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to enhance AI integration.
- Stay abreast of the latest AI technologies and methodologies to advance our platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in AI model research and development.
- Expertise in AI frameworks, LLM model architectures, and programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
