Your Role and Responsibilities

This role as a software developer is focused on IBM's parallel filesystem product called Storage Scale. In this role, you will be working on new development for the filesystem as well as working on customer cases. Storage Scale is used by many customers for workloads like AI, research, banking/finance, and more. In this role, you will be working with team members around the world on complex multi-threaded problems commonly solved with C++ and Go code. Our goals are to be a highly scalable and highly performant filesystem while having a high focus around the resilience and availability of our customers' data.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Experience with Go
  • Strong Linux systems administration skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Background knowledge of the Linux OS
  • Debugging skills in C++ and Go

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part-time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
