Your Role
As a Founding Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will:
- Architect and develop software solutions leveraging AI technology to transform traditional bookkeeping and finance processes.
- Collaborate with the founding team to define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap.
- Build and manage the technical infrastructure, including databases, servers, and APIs.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance of technology and data.
- Stay updated on advancements in AI, machine learning, and finance to enhance product offerings.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, data scientists, and developers.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
You Have
- A passion for developing and improving customer-facing products.
- High standards for clean code and architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in building web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, and Next.js.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with event-driven applications and async I/Os.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Previous founder or founding engineer experience is preferred.
- Experience in building LLM applications using OpenAI API and vector databases is a plus.
