Job Overview
As a Founding Engineer at Just Words, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a team that is building a next-generation AI marketing platform from the ground up. This role is crucial as you will be involved in all aspects of the product's development, from design and research to full-stack development and data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with founders to set the product's direction and design.
- Develop high-performance, high-throughput backend services and full-stack web applications.
- Design and maintain complex cloud architectures and ensure their robustness.
- Lead the development and deployment of machine-learning models and recommendation systems.
- Handle on-call rotations and address production issues effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of industry experience in full-stack development, data engineering, or machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in frontend (Typescript, NextJS) and backend (Java, Scala, Rust) programming languages.
- Expertise in SQL and database design, with additional experience in PySpark being a plus.
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Cloudflare) and auth platforms (Clerk).
- Proven track record in A/B experimentation, ML modeling, and deployments.
