Role Overview
As a Founding Full-Stack Engineer at Miracle, you'll have the opportunity to shape our core technology stack, work closely with end users, and directly influence the direction of our product. You'll be part of a fast-paced, innovative team that prioritizes building what people want through ongoing iteration.
This is a unique opportunity to build innovative products for our end users in the pharmaceutical industry, while getting to take true ownership and wearing multiple different hats.
Responsibilities
- Innovate and Build: Work closely with our engineering team to enhance the Miracle platform — data ingestion/orchestration pipelines, data modeling to juxtapose disparate systems, and data visualization tools to deliver actionable insights for optimizing clinical trials.
- User-First Development: Engage with end users to understand their use cases, provide exceptional support, and build solutions that address real pain points.
- Lead and Influence: Contribute to technical and product discussions, influencing strategic decisions and product roadmap.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to build 0-to-1 applications quickly. Experience with full-stack development using technologies like React, Node.js, Python, and familiarity with cloud infrastructure like AWS.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 3+ years of software development experience in the industry, ideally within an early-stage startup environment. Exceptional technical and team skills can override this requirement.
- Collaborative Team Player: Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback.
- Passionate Problem Solver: You navigate ambiguity with ease, ask insightful questions, and are driven to build what users truly want.
- Location: Commitment to working from our San Francisco office located near Montgomery BART Station (2-3 days/week).

- Competitive Compensation: Salary range of $130,000 to $170,000, commensurate with experience and interview performance. Equity options ranging from 0.7% to 2.0%.
