Fullstack Web Developer with PHP and Vue.js

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

As a Fullstack Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web applications both on the frontend and backend. You will enhance user-friendly and reactive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and Nuxt.js. Additionally, you will implement and optimize server-side applications and database solutions to support frontend functionality.

You will design and implement robust RESTful APIs to ensure efficient communication between frontend and backend systems. Ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our applications through solid design and thoughtful architecture will be a key part of your role. You will conduct regular code reviews and implement best practices for quality assurance.

Utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, you will improve development, testing, and deployment processes. You will actively participate in agile processes and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Your Profile

• You enjoy working in a team and bring an agile mindset.
• You have 2-5 years of professional experience in web development.
• You are well-versed in modern frontend technologies and frameworks.
• You have practical experience in PHP or Golang and ideally have knowledge of Symfony.
• You have a solid understanding of designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• You understand the fundamental design principles behind scalable applications and can implement them.
• You are familiar with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• You have initial experience in automated testing of applications.
• You are eager to continuously develop and learn new things.
• You value high quality and continuous work on a product.
• You have excellent German and English skills.

You will join the Technology department at Chefkoch, where we work with nearly 40 talented and passionate colleagues on the further development of our product and platform, as well as all necessary services. In our 11-member, cross-functional, and agile product development team, you will contribute to the cross-platform, user-centered development of our product features, reaching millions of cooking enthusiasts.
