Full Stack Engineer
Location
This position is based in Austin, TX, but offers remote work flexibility for candidates located in the greater Austin area.
About the Role
Snappy is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with exceptional skills and a passion for writing beautiful code. You will be instrumental in building the next generation of our gifting platform and products. This role requires a deep understanding of user needs and the ability to translate those needs into a robust product.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs and build products that meet those needs.
- Take ownership of engineering projects from design through implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Design and build software used by thousands of customers.
- Write modular, secure, and well-tested code to ensure high-quality software.
- Enhance the development environment by delivering improvements to internal tooling and processes.
- Work closely with customer support to quickly address and resolve user issues in a scalable manner.
- Contribute to the team and company culture by being an active participant.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in full stack software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js and its frameworks.
- 1+ years of experience with React frameworks is advantageous.
- Experience with serverless technologies is a plus.
