About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at MNTN, you will be at the forefront of redefining the capabilities of Connected TV and advertising software. This role involves developing both server-side logic and user interface components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. You will work with technologies like React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js, integrating these with GraphQL to build robust, scalable applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate user interface components with server-side logic via Node.js and GraphQL.
- Modify server-side logic as necessary to support front-end integration.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Ensure security and data protection in application development.
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver high-quality applications.
- Optimize and enhance existing products to improve user experience and system efficiency.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including advanced concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, and ES6.
- Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- 2-4 years of experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience in building RESTful APIs and optimizing server-side performance.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design, particularly with Postgres.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of design patterns and fundamental design principles for scalable applications.
- Experience with CI/CD and source control tools.
