Our mission is to help renters find their new homes by connecting them with top property managers through our innovative tools and solutions.
About Us
Rentable is a technology company that offers advertising and competitive intelligence solutions to multifamily property management companies. Our products include a network of listing sites, a ChatGPT plugin for rental search, and AI-driven local SEO products. Our competitive intelligence product, ApartmentIQ, provides daily, unit-level insights to help property managers set competitive rent prices.
Your Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:
- Contribute to the development of new features in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Collaborate with design, sales, and customer success teams to solve complex issues.
- Focus on the ApartmentIQ data product to enhance market understanding for property managers.
- Utilize technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React.js, and various AWS services.
- Translate prototypes into real-world production web tools.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript / ES6, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails web development and HTML/CSS.
- Ability to build responsive applications across various browsers and devices.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON.
- Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL.
- Experience with React.js, Redux, and similar JavaScript tools.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Creative, self-motivated, and a growth mindset.
Bonus Skills
- Experience working with designers to build beautiful front-end experiences.
- Desire to build simple, user-focused, and intuitive UX.
