Join Our Team as a Full Stack Software Engineer

Socure, the world leader in digital identity verification and fraud prevention, is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to high-impact initiatives, collaborate closely with product design, engineering, and management teams, and build world-class web applications and SDKs for our customers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with our distributed teams, including Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Computer Vision, and Data Science, to conceptualize and develop new features and products in an agile environment.
• End-to-End Software Delivery: Work on the complete delivery of software components, from development to production, owning team features or key system components under the guidance and mentorship of senior team members.
• Code Quality and Optimization: Write high-quality code, optimizing for user experience, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Technical Problem Solving: Tackle a wide range of challenging technical problems with continuous guidance and mentorship.
• Design and Implementation: Participate in design and implementation discussions for our backend and client applications.
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in the on-call rotation, triaging and resolving production issues, and addressing bugs.
• Mentorship and Collaboration: Assist other engineers in building scalable products and APIs, producing high-quality results with direct business impact.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in software engineering with strong full stack development expertise.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in our tech stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, WebGL, Canvas API, WebSockets, Java, Go.
• Engineering Best Practices: Understanding of engineering best practices and a proactive approach to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Adaptability: Ability to develop operational knowledge of any new technology or language as needed for the job.
• Customer-First Mindset: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Agile Methodologies: Comfort working within agile methodologies in a global, cross-functional, collaborative team environment.
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Responsive Web Design: Strong experience in responsive web design across different browsers, desktop and mobile platforms, and various devices and screen sizes.
• Graphics and Performance Optimization: Strong experience in rendering complex graphics and performance optimization.
• Cloud Services: Strong experience with AWS, CI/CD, observability tools, and other cloud services.
• SDLC Tools and Processes: Strong experience with SDLC tools and processes, including source control, test automation, and build solutions.
• Machine Learning and AI: Experience working on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI, or LLM projects in production environments.

Additional Notes

This is a remote position based in the US. Socure offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $135,000, along with equity and comprehensive benefits. We empower excellence by providing great perks and benefits to both our fully remote employees in North America and our hybrid teams in India.
