About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Swooped, you will be integral to our mission of revolutionizing business decision-making through AI-driven software solutions. This role is heavily focused on back-end development but requires strong front-end skills as well. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing web applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust back-end architectures.
- Implement responsive front-end user interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Write clean, secure, and efficient code to ensure high-quality software development.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software functionality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the software development process.
- Complete all technical tasks assigned in each sprint.
- Assist in product releases, revisions, patches, and code reviews.
- Support and troubleshoot issues with existing code.
- Research new technology and best solutions for each problem.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong back-end focus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Superb verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Experience with DevOps, preferably AWS.
- Prior experience in Risk, Underwriting and/or Payments Industry is preferred.
