Socure is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our innovative team remotely in the USA. As a leader in digital identity verification and fraud prevention, Socure leverages cutting-edge technology to verify identities in real-time. Our mission is to eliminate identity fraud on the internet, and we need your expertise to help us achieve this goal.
About the Role
As a Data Scientist on the Socure Verify team, you will be at the forefront of developing advanced entity-resolution algorithms. You will work with massive datasets to create innovative identity-verification solutions. Your role will involve building probabilistic models for identity matching, automating data-processing pipelines, and providing analytical support to our compliance and regulatory product suite, including our acclaimed Know-Your-Customer (KYC) product.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to develop identity graphs and optimize graph structures.
- Build algorithms to drive innovative identity-verification solutions.
- Apply machine learning techniques in data analysis and conduct data mining.
- Develop and improve models, perform A/B testing, and provide analytic support to compliance-product teams.
- Report on project status to senior management and work effectively in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience in a data science/engineering analytical role.
- Experience in developing data-driven algorithms in information retrieval, relevance, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Spark/PySpark, common ML libraries, and the AWS ecosystem, including EMR and S3.
- Experience with data mining, unsupervised machine learning algorithms, and statistical tools.
- Experience in developing data pipelines and automated workflows.
- Experience with graph tools and databases like Neo4j/AWS Neptune, Elasticsearch, or DynamoDB, and Airflow for automating data pipelines is a plus.
Salary and Benefits
- Base Salary range: €125,000 - €150,000 annually.
