Join IBM Consulting as a Node.js Developer and be part of a team that delivers deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Visionary Software Infrastructure Design and Development: Envision, design, and build the software infrastructure that keeps the solutions running.
Innovative Problem Solving for Efficient Solutions: Challenge ideas, identify problems, and create efficient solutions.
Flexible, Maintainable, and Scalable Application Components: Develop flexible, maintainable, and scalable application components.
Leading Technological Innovation through Collaboration: Collaborate with development peers and lead the way by staying up to date with tools and technology trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Hands-on experience developing with Node.js and SQL
Experience developing APIs using either REST or GraphQL
Experience in reporting, dashboards, and visualization data

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with testing tools like Postman, Swagger, Jest, or pytest
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions
Experience implementing security with OAuth2, JWT (JSON Web Tokens), and OpenID Connect
