Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will:
- Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Carbon UI.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement user-facing features.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Implement unit testing and ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work with RESTful APIs to integrate frontend with backend services.
- Document code and ensure code quality through code reviews and best practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years of experience in building modern, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of React and its ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3/Sass/Less, and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of UI testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Storybook for component-driven development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Node.js is a big plus.
- Experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture is a plus.
- Experience with containerization technologies, like Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.
- Experience with VSCode, Yarn, and Vite is a plus.
