About the Role

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for:

Shipping New Functionalities: Work in one of our SCRUM teams to deliver new features weekly, ensuring our product remains cutting-edge and user-friendly.
High-Quality Code: Bring your deep knowledge of design, analysis, development, and testing to exceed industry standards in code quality and security.
Innovative Techniques: Utilize new techniques such as organizing Laravel Applications with Actions to improve our development processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to refine high-level stories and present them to your team.
Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.

Job Requirements

PHP and Laravel Expertise: Over 5 years of experience working with PHP and modern Laravel.
High-Performance Code: Ability to write reusable and fully tested code.
SCRUM Experience: Previous experience working in SCRUM teams, contributing ideas and solutions.
Hybrid Work Commitment: Willingness to work at least two days a week in our Amsterdam office (relocation to the Netherlands is required).
