Job Overview
ECS is seeking a Senior Developer to work remotely from the Greater Richmond Region. We are looking for a meticulous, determined, and energetic individual to join our team. This role will focus on providing custom Golang application development expertise, as well as automation and cloud migration support.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients to provide engineering solutions and debugging support.
- Application Development: Develop custom Golang applications according to client specifications.
- Enhancements and Testing: Identify and develop enhancements to existing applications. Develop software application tests and testing strategies.
- Automation: Script solutions to automate manual processes and automate administrative tasks using configuration management tools, such as Ansible.
- Version Control: Follow and instruct others on version control processes.
- Security: Develop solutions to strengthen the security in and around applications.
- Technical Analysis: Leverage application metrics to inform technical and business decisions. Analyze industry-specific requirements and technologies to provide insights.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Golang and experience with cloud migration.
- Strong skills in automation and using tools like Ansible.
- Experience with version control, debugging, and system configuration.
- Familiarity with C#, CSS, databases, network provisioning, and software configuration management.
Salary
- The salary range for this position is between €130,000 and €145,000 per year.

- This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
