About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Golang Software Developer to join our team in Amsterdam. You will be working on Woolsocks, a financial services application designed to help users save money and promote socially conscious behavior. This role involves developing backend features within a state-of-the-art infrastructure, focusing on microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Software Services: Primarily using Go, with some Kotlin/Java, you will design, implement, and test software services.
- Manage System Performance: Ensure the availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency of Woolsocks software services.
- Bug Fixing and Monitoring: Develop tools to monitor and detect issues, preventing recurrence.
- Microservice Development: Work within a microservice mesh application development and Agile environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous learning and research to identify opportunities for software service improvements.
What We Are Looking For
- Expertise in Go: Experience in other languages like C++ or Java is beneficial.
- Strong Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms: Proficiency in problem-solving, complexity analysis, and secure coding best practices.
- Experience with Large-Scale Systems: Ability to design, build, and maintain high-performance systems and frameworks.
- Cloud Technologies: Preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
- CI/CD Solutions: Experience with automated CI/CD solutions.
