Role Description
As a Senior Front End Engineer at Levro, you will play a crucial role in shaping our product and technology direction. You will be part of a team that values empathy towards customers and team members, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our engineering culture.
What You'll Do
- Design and Implement Solutions: Take our product from 0 to 1 by designing and implementing secure, highly scalable, and pragmatic technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Founders: Work closely with the founders to influence, develop, and implement product design and roadmap.
- Develop Expertise: Gain subject matter expertise in areas like international banking, card issuing, and machine learning for lending.
- Customer Interaction: Work directly with our customers to help them expand their companies globally.
- Tackle Challenges: Engage in various daily challenges that arise in an early-stage startup environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of software engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in React and Next.js. Python experience is a big plus.
- Code Quality: We value correctness, maintainability, elegance, and testability of code. We prioritize doing things the right way over just getting things done.
- Financial Services Experience: Experience in financial services is a plus but not required.
Our Tech Stack
- Backend: Python with a simple Flask backend.
- Frontend: HTML, CSS, and Next.js.
- Infrastructure: AWS with Docker containers running on ECS.
You will help define the rest of our tech stack, bringing your ideas to life as we continue to innovate.
