About the Role
Refuel is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for building and enhancing our web application frontend. This role requires a deep understanding of frontend technologies and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Frontend Applications: Utilize frameworks and languages such as React, NextJS, JavaScript, and CSS to build and maintain our web application frontend.
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features and own them across the product lifecycle.
- Prototype and Experiment: Rapidly prototype and experiment with new product features and UI improvements based on customer feedback.
- Evolve Engineering Stack: Help define and evolve our engineering stack as we scale the product.
- Mentor and Lead: Assist in hiring and mentoring new team members, contributing to building a world-class team.
Ideal Candidate
- Expertise in Frontend Development: Proven experience in building frontend applications using React and JavaScript.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead product-defining initiatives from ideation to execution while maintaining high standards for design and correctness.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity and Passion: A genuine interest in the company-building journey and a passion for creating impactful software.
- Bonus: Experience with building interactive frontend interfaces for data-intensive software applications.
