Senior Frontend Developer - Conversion & Purchase Experience

About The Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer on our Conversion & Purchase Experience Team, you will help shape the future of our Service Monetization Platform. You will design and build intuitive and efficient user interfaces, ensuring a seamless acquisition and secure checkout experience for our fans. Working with design, product, quality, and data teams, you will solve complex challenges, optimize performance, and enhance user experience, directly contributing to the growth of the Crunchyroll fanbase.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Work with backend technologies such as Node.js and Java.
• Deploy applications in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

About You

We are excited about candidates who:

• Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in frontend development.
• Are proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Have at least 2 years of experience with backend development in Node.js, Java, etc.
• Are familiar with full-stack application development and deployment.
• Have experience in designing, implementing, and deploying software features autonomously.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience deploying code in any cloud environment like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
• Have experience with checkout experiences or acquisition-related marketing flows (a plus).

Pay Transparency

• Culver City, CA: $167,200—$209,000 USD
• San Francisco, CA: $185,440—$231,800 USD

Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
