Job Description
Adobe is seeking a talented and experienced Staff Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team at Frame.io, a part of Adobe. This role is pivotal in building our flagship web application, which is used by over 4 million creative professionals worldwide. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for crafting products that inspire creativity and enable our users to perform their best work.
Responsibilities
- Build and Lead: Develop our flagship web product by creating fluid interfaces that perform at a massive scale. Lead the team in defining and refining architecture, technologies, and development practices.
- Mentorship: Mentor a growing team of engineers, focusing on performant and sustainable engineering practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and leadership teams to understand future needs and align our technology roadmap to support that vision.
- Technical Excellence: Promote engineering excellence with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Participate in pair programming and code reviews to provide and receive technical feedback.
Requirements
- Extensive Portfolio: Demonstrated experience in owning web experiences from concept to launch, including substantial architecture design and contribution.
- Product Design Passion: A love for product design, fluid interfaces, and using exceptional products.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and GraphQL. Experience with sophisticated application state management using tools like Apollo Client, Redux, or Zustand.
- UI Expertise: Experience in building pixel-perfect, robust, performant, and accessible user interfaces on the web.
- Mentorship Experience: Proven track record of providing mentorship and helping senior engineers accelerate their growth.

- Frontend: React (including Server Components), Next.js, Apollo Client, TypeScript, GraphQL Codegen, Jest, Storybook, Styled Components, and Framer Motion.
Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The pay range for this position is $154,000 to $278,800 annually, varying by work location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
